the beginning helps you save time, money and you will be satisfied from the start.
Therefore, we have collected a small "FAQ" (frequently asked questions) here that should be useful for you.

Solar film.

Question: "You sell two different types of solar film, what is the difference between them?"
Answer: We currently have two types of solar film for vehicles, removable solar film (without adhesive) and professional solar film (with adhesive). There are big differences between the two solar films. The removable solar film can be installed again and again because it has no adhesive. Because it is much softer than ordinary solar film, it can be installed on curved panes directly without shaping it. The removable solar film is therefore very easy to install, handle and get a good result without having any direct knowledge of installing solar film. Removable solar film, on the other hand, does not have as good optics from inside the car as professional solar film. There are many different manufacturers of removable solar film and Soyafilm is the best in terms of optics/visibility, the difference can be very large. After installation, give it all a little time and the film will be clearer when it dries properly. From the outside, the removable solar film looks as good as professional solar film.
Professional solar film can only be installed once and requires more installation knowledge to get a good result. If you get a result you are not satisfied with, you have to buy new solar film and dismantle the other one. The professional solar film must be shaped with a hot air gun on the outside of the glass before installation to avoid creases and to get a good result. Professional sun film has perfect optics from inside the car, has a scratch-resistant layer, higher heat-reflective properties, excellent forming properties, i.e. everything that a professional solar film requires.

Question: "Which solar film should I choose?"
Answer: If you do not have any installation skills, choose the removable solar film because it is almost impossible to fail with the installation. If you have knowledge of forming solar films and have installed solar films before and feel confident in the installation technique, choose the professional solar film. On the other hand, if you have thought of being able to easily dismantle the solar film on e.g. the front doors when inspecting vehicles, it is recommended to remove it. If you want to be able to disassemble and reassemble again, choose removable solar film.

Question: "What is Soyafilm removable solar film, thin solar film or hard plastic sheets or what?"
Answer: Removable solar film is a thin 0.15mm soft plastic film. Some confuse our removable solar film with hard plastic sheets and polycarbonate. Plastic sheets and polycarbonate tinting is hard and thick which is colored which is therefore not a solar film. Plastic sheets and polycarbonate do not fit completely against the glass, which can look funny from the outside and collect dust and dirt between the sheet and the glass, many also experience that they rattle and vibrate, which can be disturbing while driving. The fact that the sheet does not sit completely smooth against the glass also contributes to the fact that it can be hotter in the car than with any other solar film that sits smoothly against the glass, which reflects the heat much better. If you have plastic sheets and polycarbonate on the door sides, you can't lift the windows either, which can be a safety risk.
Soyafilm removable solar film is exactly what it is, a thin solar film in soft plastic. Soyafilm solar film sits completely smooth against the glass because it is mounted with liquid between the film and the glass. The liquid is squeezed out with a rubber scraper and the result is perfect. With Soyafilm removable solar film, you can lift the windows as usual, just like with any real solar film. It can be quickly assembled, disassembled and reassembled.

Question: "How do your professional sun films differ from other so-called 'sun films'?"
Answer: There are many different manufacures of solar film solutions on the market, good and less good. At Soyafilm.se, we only sell well-known brands, which means you can be confident when choosing our products. Solar Gard that we sell is one of the biggest and best manufacturers of solar film. They provide good guarantees and are stable on the market for many years.
Most car parts chains do not sell any professional sun film, but mostly low quality sun film and not any famous brands. A professional solar film is a solar film that professional installers use because they are easy to form, have good reflective properties, are colorfast and last for many years.
Car parts chains and smaller online shops that sell solar film without a well-known brand may work at first and work as a good cheap choice until you notice that it is not so easy to shape, bleaches and changes color over time, gets burned more easily when you try to shape it, etc. They do not reflect heat as well, but bind up the solar energy/heat more, which means that the car can be warmer than without solar film!
The differences are many. Professional solar films are expensive to produce, but you get what you pay for and once you've tried a good solar film, you won't want anything else.

Question: "Can you have solar film on those front doors and the windshield?"
Answer: Different laws apply to this depending on the country in which the vehicle is driven. In Sweden, you are not allowed to have any solar film on the front doors, nor on the windshield. If the inspection detects the solar film on the front doors, you can get a re-inspection.

Question: "I keep getting bubbles between the solar film and the window, why?"
Answer: You can get bubbles with any solar film, but this usually does not depend on the film, but on the fact that you have got debris/dust between the film and the window. The removable solar film is very easy to fix the problem here, because you can detach the film, rinse it clean and then reassemble it again. The professional solar film can sometimes be used to fix the bubbles with certain techniques, but this solar film cannot be cleaned and mounted again.

Question: "My delivery is delayed, what do I do?"
Answer: Check your tracking information you received by email or SMS and track where your order is.
Contact us as soon as possible if your order has exceeded the delivery time so that we can help you immediately.

Question: "I have ordered the wrong thing or received the wrong item, what can I do?"
Answer: If you have ordered incorrectly or had the wrong product sent to you, please contact us before returning. We do not accept returns until we have reviewed the order with you first.

Question: "Why is there no right of return, exchange or cancellation on certain goods?"
Answer: There is a right of return and right of withdrawal on everything except cut protective films, pre-cut solar film, pre-cut headlight film, made-to-measure products and goods with reduced prices. This is for our protection because we process all film etc. upon order and fully in accordance with the Swedish Consumer Agency's rules. 5)
Question: "I missed using a discount code or ticket, can I deduct it afterwards?"
Answer: No. Discount codes and tickets are "fresh" and a document of value and must be used immediately upon purchase and before the expiration date.
